The Marine Bar welcomes people from near and far, local and tourist alike. Situated on the N25 halfway between Waterford city and Cork city we have become the ideal stopping point for a tea, coffee or hot whisky.
CIE International Tours is one of the many tour operators to visit us throughout the year with tour groups. Helen pours the drinks
and Christy entertains with traditional Irish music.
Every year CIE’s customers complete a client satisfaction survey at the end of their tour and then outstanding hotels and visitor attractions from all over Ireland are presented with an Award of Excellence.
On February 1st 2016 Helen and Christy were invited to Dublin Castle to receive their Award of Excellence, presented by Mr Dennis Savage, VP of CIE International Tours.
Amongst the other winners in the Munster region were Blarney Castle, House of Waterford Crystal, Cliffs of Moher and The Jameson Experience. Its fantastic to know that we can offer entertainment and attraction on the same scale as some of these great places.
We very much enjoyed out stop at the Marine Bar. We were greeted with an Irish coffee and were pleased with the wonderful music of owner, Christy O’Neill. An A+ to both CIE and the Marine Bar.
