Local things to do while you’re visiting:

Dungarvan Tourism

Visit Waterford

This is another great website for upcoming events in Waterford with a very user friendly calendar of events. You’ll be spoilt for choice!

We are lucky to be surrounded by the best of beaches here on our beautiful coastline. Ardmore is probably our favourite but there are loads of hidden gems near Dungarvan that you won’t find on the internet. Our advice – ask a local for their preference and some very clear directions!

If you’re staying anywhere near Ardmore or An Rinn (Ring) make sure you do either An Coinigéar (Cunnigar) walk or the Cliff Walk in Ardmore, or both! The Cunnigar is truly unique and takes about 1.5hours to walk to the tip of the sand-spit and back. The Cliff Walk is beautiful. The clue is in the title – walk along the cliff edge in Ardmore taking in the views and wrap around the historic Round Tower.
